Customs warehousing procedure

Three different customs warehousing procedures can be exercised for the goods accepted in storage by SDAG S.p.A.:

  • Standard national system
  • Customs procedures
  • VAT system
This allows the trader to have dry or frozen food enter in the foreign country with the possibility to store it with temporary suspension of the customs duties and VAT. This possibility is particularly convenient for international traders, as all the fiscal charges are to be paid when the importation is actually made with the final destination of the goods: the trader can benefit from these economic-fiscal advantages, as well as have the goods stored in the foreign country and wait for the most advantageous moment to have them imported against payment of duties and sell them to the best buyer.
